Kingston Young Artists presents “An Advent Celebration”.
This 1-hour programme for the whole family features the Academy Chamber Orchestra and Youth Choir made up of performers from across the Kingston area!
Music includes works for violin, piano, cello, organ, recorder and choir by W. A. Mozart, Balbastre and Morales, with traditional English, German and Spanish carols, and a splash of audience participation — all lead by conductor and organist Jeffrey Moellman.
Also, a highlight of the afternoon will be Leopold Mozart’s “Toy Symphony” — a seasonal treat!
Two performances: in Sydenham: St. Paul’s Anglican Church Sunday, November 24, 3:00pm in Kingston: St. Paul’s Anglican Church (Queen & Montreal Streets) Sunday, December 1, 3:00pm
Admission is by free-will offering, and refreshments will follow each concert.
