Kits House Autumn Fair

The Kits House Autumn Fair is back again for its ninth year! For one day only, on Saturday October 19th from 11am to 4pm, Kits House is going to transform into a busy marketplace with a ton of family-friendly activities. To sum it up for you they’ll have: • The Colour of Real Estate Haunted House • Pumpkin Patch • Carnival Games • Bouncy Castle • Costume Contest • Face Painting • Photobooth • 30+ local vendors • Food Trucks • Live Music • All-ages Yoga • Improv Show • Yo-yo show and workshop, and • A Gift Basket Bonanza Vine St between 5th and 8th Ave will be shut down to vehicle transit and be filled with talented live musicians, unique and local artisanal vendors, amazing community partners, food trucks serving up delicious grub, fun carnival games, a fall themed photobooth, a need-to-win gift basket bonanza, the Pumpkin Patch, and much more! Step inside Kits House and warm up with some comforting coffee and tea and visit the main hall stage for live entertainment throughout the day – including morning all-ages yoga hosted by the Yoga Buggy, an improv show put on by The Fictionals Comedy Co., and a Yo-yo show and workshop with Harrison Lee, 2013 and 2017 Canadian National Top Champion. If the kids are feeling brave, you can even stop by the family friendly Colour of Real Estate Haunted House! The event caps off the day with a costume contest for best pet, best child and best adult costumes! It’s a great way to spend your Saturday, and if you’ve never visited Kits House before, it’s a great way to get to know them! Kits House a registered non-profit dedicated to providing programs and services to the Westside community as well as providing an opportunity for everybody in the community to get together and be engaged. They offer programs such as childcare, family drop-ins, senior’s lunches, monthly potlucks, kitting circles and much, MUCH more. Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the amazing programs and services Kits House has to offer – check them out!
