The Rekai Centres is hosting Time After Time: Bridging the Gap, a “picnic style” senior/intergenerational 2SLGBTQI+ event. This is the first senior/intergenerational 2SLGBTQI+ pride event hosted by a long term care home in Toronto. This is a unique and fun opportunity for community members to celebrate the lives and accomplishments of older 2SLGBTQI+ people and build relationships. Come celebrate our pride with us! There will be a henna artist, a Ugandan dance group, burlesque, a DJ, and a drag performance. Finger foods and refreshments will be provided.
All are welcome to this free event! Come out to our picnic social. Bring a blanket, mingle, meet friends, have fun, and share your stories!
