Around the time of the American Revolution (1774-1783), many of our ancestors stayed loyal to the Crown and, as a result, were driven out of the 13 Colonies into what is now Canada. It’s estimated that one in ten Canadians can trace their descent from a Loyalist ancestor. Are you one of those descendants? The United Empire Loyalists Association of Canada, Manitoba Branch, will hold its April Meeting on April 27th from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at The Gates On Roblin (6945 Roblin Blvd).
