Her sixth album Gathering (2016) celebrates love—love of family, community, humanity that fires our actions to make the world a better place. Shannon Johnson began studying violin at the age of three and quickly demonstrated an exceptional ability. She has won classical violin and fiddling awards at national and international levels.
