Join CKNW on location Sunday September 23rd at Deer Lake Park in Burnaby for the Bladder Cancer Canada Walk 2018!
Bladder Cancer Canada is a national charity organized to help bladder cancer patients and their support teams address the day-to-day issues of this disease, increase awareness of bladder cancer among the general public and medical community and fund research which pursues the diagnosis, treatment and elimination of bladder cancer.=
About Bladder Cancer Canada:
Last September (2017), Bladder Cancer Canada hosted the 9th Annual Bladder Cancer Canada Awareness Walk. The walk took place in 19 communities across Canada, and was a great success!
Together they raised just over $600,000. We are sincerely grateful to all volunteers, walk participants and donors who help us to continue to fund our mission. Please join us this year in reaching our national goal of $600,000.
Our Awareness Walk is a fun-filled day, bringing patients and families together and is responsible for raising 75% of our total annual funds. Click on our 2016 Annual Review to see where the money goes.
