STUDENTS LISTEN UP! and make music thanks to partnerships
Event EndedSaskatoon Symphony Orchestra and Ottawa-based Gryphon Trio will be conducting a special performance featuring music created by students at St. Mary’s Wellness and Education Centre.
The performance titled Kitohcikewin (Cree for making music) is the culmination of months of work with the unique Listen Up! artist-in-residence program involving the Gryphon Trio and the Ottawa Chamber Music Society. Since September 2017, the trio has worked with students and members of the local arts community to create music, poetry and visual art.
