Embrace Society Rescue Dog Adoption Event

Embrace a Discarded Animal Society in partnership with PetSmart CharitiesTM of Canada is holding a huge adoption event at PetSmart Kelowna April 27-29. Over 40 very special rescue dogs will be making the trip up the Coquihalla to Kelowna, where they’re hoping to find local families who will open their hearts and give them the loving forever homes they deserve. Kelowna residents who are interested in adopting can complete an application on the society’s website http://www.embracesociety.ca in advance, or at the store during the event. Selected applicants will be interviewed, and a home check will be done before being approved to adopt. Caring shelter managers in California know they must send dogs to other geographical areas to save their lives. There are just too many dogs pouring into their shelters every day. Many rescue organizations in Canada the Northwest USA take in these dogs and work on finding them wonderful homes. By working together, we can save lives.
