Keira’s Winter Klassic

“Keira’s Winter Klassic” is an 8-team, outdoor U12 ringette tournament at Assiniboia West Community Club in support of MB children with brain cancer. The event will continue with a social evening from 8:00 – 1:00 at Sturgeon Heights Community Club, 210 Rita St. At 5 years of age, Keira Bond joined the game of ringette for the first time and never looked back! At the young age of 10, in December 2016, Keira was diagnosed with an aggressive brainstem tumour. Tragically, Keira was taken from us six short months later, in June of 2017. While sick, Keira’s care and compassion prompted her to start Keira’s Krusade (www.keiraskrusade.com) to help others with cancer. Keira’s Winter Klassic continues Keira’s goal of helping others. ALL proceeds from Keira’s Winter Klassic will go to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation to help directly in the fight against pediatric brain cancer!
