Alberta Ballet presents guest company MOMIX in their new hit show Opus Cactus. A surreal fantasy world where circus meets dance, Opus Cactus transports audiences into the hidden landscape of the American Southwest, a desert world of soaring cactuses, slithering snakes and frolicking insects. Under the direction of Moses Pendleton, this troupe of dancer-illusionists will re-create the heat of the south-western United States’ Sonoran Desert in Opus Cactus. Artistic Director Moses Pendleton conjures sensuality, danger and humour in this inspiring and innovative performance that’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen.
