His rare combination of celebrated artistry, technical wizardry, and engaging personality has secured his place as one of the most sought-after cellists today. The program features Michael Daugherty’s Tales of Hemingway (2015), a concerto for which Bailey’s recording received critical acclaim and was honoured with two Grammy Awards in 2017.
