In March severe flooding on the coast of Peru killed over 75 people, injured many more and left millions homeless. Rainbow of Hope for Children and Alberta Based NGO has a long-term project in Chincha Peru where most people are now homeless. With support from the Edmonton Peruvian community and Sombrilla International Development Society, Rainbow of Hope for Children is raising funds to provide housing for the most vulnerable community members. The Peru-Can Rebuild event offers Peruvian food, music, dancing and an auction seeking donations for the project. Free Event. Donations for the cause will be gratefully accepted.
