7 year old Gracie Herntier started this fundraiser, her reason being that she would like all children in her music class to have an instrument to play. For Gracie’s first Garage sale, Gracie earned $605.00 and every cent donated went to her schools music program. Gracie was preparing for her second garage sale and she was mauled to death by two dogs, while visiting family friends. We, Gracie’s Family, decided to continue with Gracie’s Fundraiser, the second year we her family and community raised $7,000.00. We were getting ready for Gracie’s third fundraiser and our family home burned to the ground. Manitobans came together and saved Gracie’s fundraiser, they donated gently used items for the sale, silent auction prizes, monetary gifts and thanks to them we were able to raise $16,000.00. Thanks to Manitobans that have supported Gracie’s Dream, from the bottom of our hearts we want to thank everyone who has helped us keep our little Angel’s dream alive. Thank YOU!!
