It’s quilt week in Nanaimo and the Nanaimo Quilters’ Guild are showing off their finest work May 29 & 30 at the Nanaimo Curling Centre. Material Magic features over 300 quilts and fibre arts along with daily demonstrations, draws, raffle, a merchant mall, guild boutique and cafe. Every 3 years the guild hosts the show to share members’ work with the public and support their local charitable activities.
