Shakespeare’s: Much Ado About Nothing

The Montreal West and NDG Rotary Club’s Younkers Little Theatre Troupe is thrilled to present Shakespeare’s beloved romantic comedy, Much Ado About Nothing. This captivating tale of deception and mistaken identity will be performed from May 28th to May 30th at St. Philip’s Church Memorial Hall! No good rom-com is complete without a couple of lovers, their group of scheming friends, and a destination wedding. While young Hero and Claudio fall in love at first sight, their friends – the fiery, staunchly single, and quick-witted Beatrice and Benedick – can’t stand each other for now. Enter the villainous Don John, sneaky ploys to spark a cheating scandal, and a bumbling constable, and it’s a recipe for mayhem. Come join us for 2 hours of fun and frolic! The talented volunteer troupe, directed by Doug Floen, promises to truly entertain the audience with their skills. Everyone involved in this production is volunteering their time. All proceeds from the performances of Much Ado About Nothing will go to 03 On Our Own, an NDG-based non-profit that offers transitional housing and support services to young, vulnerable parents and their children.
