Get ready for a powerhouse night of blues! Rick “Poppa Dawg” Halisheff returns to the Centre on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 7 PM, this time with his full trio, longtime musical partners Grant Jones (bass) and John Modder (drums).
With more than 25 years in the Western Canadian blues scene, Rick is known for his soulful vocals, fiery guitar work, and storytelling style. The trio brings Chicago‑style blues blended with swing, R&B, and original tunes — rootsy, rhythmic, and impossible not to feel.
It’s authentic, high‑energy blues from three musicians with 30 years of chemistry behind them.
Advance tickets may be purchased from January 20 – February 18 for $20 or $15 for SCCA members from Artisans of the Okanagan in Summerland with cash or reserve with an e-transfer to summerlandcommunitycentre@gmail.com. Tickets at the door will be $25.
