Oscar Peterson: Family Album

2025 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of jazz icon Oscar Peterson. BuckingJam Palace starts the lead-in to a year-long celebration of the life and music of this Canadian treasure with an intimate experience of story and music: Oscar Peterson: Family Album. Céline Peterson, daughter of Oscar and Kelly Peterson—and a distinguished contributor to the international jazz scene in her own right—joins three of Canada’s most accomplished jazz artists to share memories and music that will illuminate the incalculable impact of Oscar’s Peterson’s genius on generations of jazz musicians and music lovers. Mementos from the Oscar Peterson estate will be on display before and after the concerts along with a collection of photos from the Peterson family archives.
