Victoria Forum 2024

Co-hosted by the Senate of Canada and the University of Victoria, the Forum will be held from August 25-27 on the traditional territory of the Lək̓ʷəŋən Peoples, and set against the beautiful backdrop of Victoria, BC, Canada. The theme of the 2024 Victoria Forum is “Building Trust for a Shared Future.” In a world facing significant existential threats and an increasing crisis of trust, the Forum aims to address these challenges by fostering collective action and promoting reconciliation. Building on the successes of previous events, the Forum will bring together a diverse group of participants, including academics, policymakers, Indigenous communities, business leaders, and civil society, to tackle global problems. The 2024 Forum will feature both in-person discussions and live broadcast plenary sessions, along with cultural and social events to encourage networking and idea exchange.
