Starting at 2 p.m., Red Bird’s parking lot will be buzzing with excitement as Kelowna locals Texas Major gear up for their performance at 7 p.m.
This special event is a prelude to their Sunday show at Rock the Lake, where they’ll be opening for rock legends Tom Cochrane and 54-40.
To celebrate their addition to the lineup, Red Bird is throwing a massive party and giving away Rock The Lake tickets and exclusive prizes.
Try your luck at the putting green to win 3-day weekend passes to Rock the Lake or snag festival gear like hats, crop tops, and tees before they’re available at merchandise stands.
The brew crew will set the mood with a playlist featuring hits from Our Lady Peace, Theory of a Deadman, Daughtry, and more, creating the perfect build-up before Dying Breed and Texas Major take the stage.
Dying Breed, which will open for Texas Major, promises an electrifying set infused with punk, funk, and grunge. It will revive the classic 1990s vibe with influences from Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Soundgarden.
