The Calgary Horror Con is back for its 12th year at the Hilton Double Tree Calgary North.
The convention consists of 150 horror vendors, a full international film festival, panels, celebrity signings and photo ops. Various celebrity guests will be joining this year, including Alyssa Sutherland (Evil Dead Rise) and someone we all know as Damien-Harvey Stephens (The Omen).
Evil Dead fans can celebrate as Kassie DePaiva (Evil Dead 2), Dana DeLorenzo and Ray Santiago (Ash Vs. Evil Dead) join the groovy lineup. Robert Brian Wilson, who portrayed a deranged Santa (Silent Night Deadly Night), and Canadian stuntman/actor Alex Armbruster and Karen Cliché (Thanksgiving) bring holiday cheer.
Finishing off the eccentric lineup is Mark Torgl (The Toxic Avenger). The convention kicks off at the Hilton DoubleTree on Friday, June 14th for the VIP Party starting at 9 pm. The night includes celebrity meet and greets, a White Hat Ceremony, and live performances from local talent and musical acts. The Calgary Horror Con runs daily on June 15th and 16th from 11 am – 7 pm.
