Join the 40th World Partnership Walk at Prince Island Park on Sunday, June 2, 2024
The World Partnership Walk is Canada’s largest public movement to fight global poverty, uniting Canadians across the country in collective action since 1985. Everyone is invited to sign up for the campaign and join us at Legislature Grounds on Sunday, June 2, to show the world our support!
More than 700 million people live in extreme poverty (less than $2.15 a day), the majority of whom are in Africa and Asia. Joining the Walk is an opportunity for Canadians to engage with each other locally—in their workplaces, schools, and communities—to raise critical funds to improve the quality of life in some of the world’s poorest communities. In doing so, they are helping millions of individuals across Africa and Asia lift themselves out of poverty.
