April is Earth Month and this year WaterAid Canada is working closely with 500+ Aveda Canada salons and spas to raise awareness and funds to accelerate WaterAid’s mission – to transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalized people by improving access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene. Currently, 703 million people in the world – almost one in ten – don’t have clean water close to home. But together, we can change this. Since 2006, Aveda Canada’s partnership with WaterAid Canada has raised more than $5 million, reaching over 180,000 people with access to clean water. If you live in the Calgary area, we invite you to join us for the Aveda Canada Walk for Water on Wednesday, April 24th at Southcentre Mall at 10am next to the Diva Salon and Spa on the main level.
