The Standard Space in Penticton, B.C., is the Okanagan’s newest coworking, creative and collaborative events space, and it will present an exhibition of new paintings by artist Sondra Richardson.
Launching their new artist-in-residence program, the exhibit will open to the public in this unique space from May 11-18 (12 p.m. to 6 p.m., daily).
The exhibition, titled Here, After, is an homage to life, love, and what remains.
A colourful collection of works in mixed media (acrylic paint, oil pastels, graphite, ink, and found objects), explores basic emotion, stories, places … the marks people make on the world.
Sondra Richardson is an artist whose work has been influenced by the multiple interests in her life. She has exhibited in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, and her works are in private collections internationally.
