With an abiding affinity for cinematic repertoire, guest conductor Anthony Parnther brings a fan’s enthusiasm to the unmistakable orchestral score to Star Wars: A New Hope, as the original 1977 film plays on the big screen with John Williams’ unforgettable score performed live by the Calgary Phil. This concert is presented in partnership with the Calgary International Film Festival.
