Land’s End Ensemble features works that explore a vast range of sonic experiences that defy categorizations. From the electroacoustic sounds of Jared Miller’s “Leviathan”, to the spatialization effects of Merlijn Twaalhoven’s “On Parole”, and to the trance-inducing cacophony of Terry Riley’s classic work “In C”, this concert will take the audience on sonic journeys that transcends material existence.

Also featured is the premiere of “Creepie Crawlie” by Calgary composer Michael van der Sloot, and the Canadian masterpiece “Strategies Against Architecture, Book 2” by Omar Daniel with guest performers Akiko Tominaga (piano), Kyle Eustace (percussion), and Chris Sies (percussion).
