In our community, oppression, discrimination and racism persist, motivating local creators to use art as a way to understand and express their personal experiences.
The Vernon and District Immigrant and Community Services Society invites you to join us on May 16 for a special evening at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre, where we’ll honour these creative efforts and gain deeper insight into the remarkable works.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and guests are invited to experience the exhibits at their leisure throughout the evening.
Admission is free and includes entry to a raffle with art, products and experiences from local businesses.
Snacks and refreshments will be available.
For more information, contact Amy Timleck at amy.timleck@vdicss.org.
The Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre is wheelchair accessible.
