Night to Shine is an annual prom-night event held worldwide to celebrate people with disabilities who may not get to experience a traditional prom. It is estimated that 16% of the world’s population lives with a disability. Considered some of the world’s most vulnerable people, they are often denied the same opportunities as their peers to feel valued as a part of their local community. In 2014, Night to Shine was launched by the Tim Tebow Foundation to bring people together to create a magical night to celebrate members of their community who are disabled. Last year, in 2023, on one night, 721 churches from around the world came together to host Night to Shine for approximately 115,000 honoured guests through the support of 215,000 volunteers!
