Ford World Men’s Curling Championship – Opening Ceremonies – April 1

Please join us in welcoming teams from around the world at the opening ceremonies of the Ford World Men’s Curling Championships. This free event gets underway at the Northlands Coliseum at noon. Come early and enjoy a family-friendly pancake breakfast starting at 10 a.m. near the North stage on the Edmonton EXPO Centre grounds for $10/person.


Ford World Men’s Curling Championship – April 1 – 9

Live it live and cheer on team Canada as they compete to be the best men’s curling team in the world. Not only is there a world title up for grabs in our home city, it’s the final event for countries to earn qualifying points to be part of 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea. While the action will be hot on the ice, it’ll be just as hot at the world-famous Patch located in the Edmonton EXPO Centre. Global News Wardrobe Sale – April 8

The Global News girls have cleaned out their closets for charity! Grab some fabulous fashion finds at the 4th annual Global News Wardrobe Sale.  All the money goes to the Alberta Cancer Foundation in support of Breast Cancer research! We hope to see you on Saturday April 8 from Noon to 2pm. We’ll be selling clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry and the Global Guys Ties!
