TORONTO — Just call him The Artist Forever Known as Prince or the Future King of Pop.
William, the Duke of Cambridge joined rocker Jon Bon Jovi and country-pop superstar Taylor Swift on stage Tuesday to sing “Livin’ on a Prayer.”
The impromptu performance took place at the Winter Whites charity gala at Kensington Palace in London.
The event raised funds for homeless charity Centrepoint.
While Bon Jovi belted out his classic track, William escorted Swift up on stage so the two could add their voices to the chorus.
At one point, the Prince motioned to the crowd of 600 to join in.
William reportedly sang a karaoke version of “Livin’ on a Prayer” at his cousin Zara Tindall’s wedding reception.
Swift later gushed about meeting the future king.
“He was very funny,” she told reporters. “I was really happy he was funny.”
