One boat has been completely destroyed after it was smashed against the rocks in English Bay on Tuesday afternoon.

Three boats washed ashore yesterday. Two are still run aground.

On Tuesday, winds got up to  60 km/h in English Bay, and 70 to 80 km/h in the Strait of Georgia.

The wind has now died down, but the debris from the third boat is still on the rocks and in the water, and it is unclear who is tasked with cleaning it up.
