A man was rushed to hospital in potentially life-threatening condition after his dump truck went out of control and rolled several times.
It happened at around 2 p.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes of Highway 1, approaching Scott Lake Hill near Canmore.

The driver, believed to be in his 30’s, was thrown from the cab.
He was flown by STARS to Calgary’s Foothills Hospital.
The westbound lanes were closed while police investigated and cleared away the debris, but have since reopened.
