VIDEO: (Jul 5) Despite rain, Ford Fest BBQ continues in Scarborough. Carey Marsden reports.
TORONTO – The mayor will be celebrating with family and friends at Ford Fest in Etobicoke tonight.
Rob Ford will be hosting the Etobicoke portion of his annual Ford Fest at Centennial Park.
Earlier this summer, residents of Scarborough were treated with a similar event at Thomson Memorial Park.
In the past, the barbecue was held in the backyard of the Ford family home.
The venue change is due to an increase in attendance.
There will be free food, a midway for the kids, music performance and a chance to meet the mayor.
The festivities will kick off at 6 p.m.
