EDMONTON- Global Edmonton had some very special visitors on Thursday; some youngsters from the Kids with Cancer Society had their dreams of becoming reporters come true.
Global reporter Shane Jones helped out as Keegan Zukowski, Connor McGrath, Emily Spofford, Elizabeth Ossowska and Kinza Mawji lived a day in a reporter’s shoes.
The kids arrived at the station Thursday morning, ready for the busy day ahead. They took a tour of the control room before appearing on the Noon News Hour, helping Nicola Crosbie with her weather forecast.

After a quick lunch, the kids were ready to report. So they headed up to the newsroom where Shane had their assignment for the day. Their story- to find out who is the hardest working employee at Global Edmonton.
