What do you think is the ugliest building in the Lower Mainland?

The last stone panel on the side of downtown Vancouver’s Sears building was removed today, bringing to an end the building’s reign as “Vancouver’s unending urinal wall.”

The Sears building is being retrofitted for a new Nordstrom department store, office space and extension to Pacific Centre, scheduled to open in the fall of 2015.

As part of the renovation, the building’s last distinctive white stone panel was removed today during a special ceremony.
