WINNIPEG — A man is recovering in hospital and two people are behind bars after a violent carjacking in the North End Sunday.

It happened near Selkirk Avenue and McGregor Street around 3 a.m. Sunday morning.

The other four took off with the vehicle.

The driver was rushed to hospital in critical condition and has since been upgraded to stable.
