Police are investigating after a body was found in Woodsworth Park off Hekla Avenue early Saturday morning.
Officers say a call for “a person in a park” came in around 7 a.m.

A male body was found in the park near a picnic table. The park surrounds a retention pond.
“There is no indication that he was in the water,” said Const. Eric Hofley with the Winnipeg Police Service.
His age is not yet known.
Police say the male died from a medical issue. No other information has been made available.
