$2,000 reward offered for unlicensed dentist Tung Sheng Wu

The College of Dental Surgeons is offering a $2,000 reward for information that helps track down unlicensed dentist Tung Sheng Wu, who also went by the name David Wu.

The warrant for Wu’s arrest has also been expanded outside of B.C., because officials believe he may be heading to Toronto.

Last night a car, believed to be Wu’s, was towed from a parking lot on Mitchell Island in Richmond.

The car’s seizure followed a closed door court session, in which a BC Supreme Court judge is believed to have granted a search warrant.

Back in May, the college raided Wu’s home office in Burnaby, where they say he was illegally practicing dentistry.

His 1,500 patients are still advised to be tested for diseases like Hepatisis and HIV, over concerns his equipment was not properly sterilized.
