TORONTO – Mayor Rob Ford’s appearance at the Pilaros Taste of the Danforth festival on Friday night had social media sites buzzing after several videos of the mayor were uploaded to YouTube.
Residents took to Twitter to debate what they were watching as Mayor Ford appeared to be acting strangely in the videos.
In one YouTube video Mayor Ford can be seen surrounded by a group of people laughing and talking to him, as he’s holding a Tim Horton’s coffee.
At one point a person in the group asks the Mayor what he is doing, to which he responds “We’re gonna go up to the party, man. I wanna get these kids playing football.”
Global News has tried to contact the mayor’s office for comment, but have not heard back from him.
