FORT QU’ APPELLE, Sask. – Two people have been arrested following a drug bust on a Saskatchewan First Nation on Wednesday. A one month investigation led to a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a Little Black Bear First Nation residence around 11:15 p.m.

RCMP say a search turned up a small amount of marijuana that was being sold out of the residence.

Three individuals were taken into custody and one was later released without being charged.

Francis Derae Bellegarde, 22, has been charged with trafficking cannabis marijuana.

A small amount of marijuana was located on another 22-year-old man.

Both are scheduled to appear in provincial court on September 5.
