Queen Elizabeth II is certainly one of those affected by the royal baby waiting game, and not just because she’ll be the proud great grandmother.
While speaking with a group of children at Lake Windermere, the Queen was asked by a young girl if she has a preference for the sex of the royal baby.
“Do you want Kate’s baby to be a boy or a girl?”
The Queen answered, “I don’t think I mind but I would very much like it to arrive because I’m going on holiday soon.”
“No sign yet,” she added.
