EcoWater Systems

The company is offering free shut down or complete disconnection services of water treatment equipment that was damaged during flooding, including water softeners. Go to www.ecowatercalgary.ca for more information.

ATLAS Infrared

ATLAS Infrared is offering five free infrared and moisture inspections for Calgary flood victims who need to confirm the presence of moisture in drywall and wood materials. They can perform instrument moisture readings into hidden cavities and use infrared to assess for moisture accumulation. Go to www.atlasenvirotech.ca, or call 403-554-6749.

Dahlson Industries Ltd.

The company has a brand new water pump available to lend out, and can drop it off and pick it up if needed. Manpower may also be provided.
Employees are also donating their overtime pay to flood victims, and are challenging other manufacturing companies to do the same.

The company is offering new hot water tank installations at discounted prices. Call 403-257-1766.

CLEANING

Glenmore Coin Laundry

The business is partnering with Tide to offer free laundry washing to those affected by flooding. Due to water restrictions, no bedding, jackets or large items will be accepted. Please limit to one load per family.
Go to 6624 Centre St. S.E. through Sunday June 30.

WINMAR Property Restoration

The company is offering free soft content cleaning to non-insured homeowners who were affected by floods. They can clean clothing, shoes and bedding to remove contaminants. Call 403-294-0005.

Fercho Psychological Services

The private practice of clinical psychologists is offering at least two free counselling sessions for anyone experiencing stress or loss due to flooding.
They are located at 1921 5A Street S.W. call 403-245-3211 to set up an appointment.

Chiropractor

Dr. Mike Hoiles at Calgary Sports Therapy is offering complimentary chiropractic care to firefighters, military personnel, EMS and police officers.

Wentworth Medical and Walk-In Clinic

The clinic is offering its services to anyone who is not able to see their doctor, as well as anyone hurt during cleanup or needing a prescription.

Calgary Jewish Community Centre

The facility is opening its doors to anyone with a fitness membership who is unable to visit their own gym due to flooding.

YMCA/Westside Recreation Centre

Members of the Eau Claire YMCA are being given free access to the Westside Recreation Centre.

GoodLife Fitness

The gyms have opened up their change rooms and shower facilities to those affected by floods. The offer is valid at all Calgary locations except for Eau Claire which is still closed due to flooding.

Kensington Fitness Studio

The gym is offering free showers and towel service to people who have been forced to leave their homes.

CHILD CARE

Fun and More

The facility in Canyon Meadows is donating its space on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. to entertain children up to age 12 who were affected by flooding. Panago is donating pizza and there will be a magician and balloon artist. Call 403-512-0041.

Chinook School of Music

The school, along with Counterpoint Dance Studio, is offering free daycamps for children affected by the flooding or school cancellations. E-mail chinookstudio@gmail.com to register.

Stir Crazy Family Fun Centre

K9 Corner

The dog daycare is offering free dog daycare, free baths and free boarding for the dogs of flood victims.

The store is raising money and collecting food and supplies to assist families who’ve had to relocate their animals. For every cash or supply donation, customers get 10 per cent off.

The auto dealership is partnering up with City Wide Towing to pick up flood damaged vehicles for free, and store them at their dealership until insurance companies decide how to proceed with repairs. The company has complimentary trucks available to use during flood cleanup. Call 403-235-3223.

Wheel Estate Rentals
