Ford on alleged Gawker video: ‘I’ve said everything I have to say.’

TORONTO- Following a Camp Day event at a Scarborough Tim Hortons, Mayor Rob Ford told a gathering of reporters that he has nothing further to add regarding allegations of an alleged controversial video multiple sources claim exist.

The informal press conference follows a tumultuous two weeks of intense media scrutiny on Ford, after the U.S. website Gawker and the Toronto Star reported seeing a video that purportedly shows Ford appearing to smoke what could be crack cocaine.

The mayor has called the allegations “ridiculous” and has denied accusations that he uses crack cocaine.

“I do not use crack cocaine, nor am I an addict of crack cocaine,” Ford said during a press conference two weeks ago.

Global News has not seen and cannot verify the authenticity of the alleged video.
