MONTREAL – During the Second World War, the Canadian government arrested and incarcerated over 600 Italian Canadians under the War Measures Act.
Montreal oral historian Joyce Pillarella has written a book, “Remembering the Internment,” about members of the Montreal Italian community who were interned during the Second World War.
