Police are looking for a possible witness to a motorcycle crash that occurred Friday on the Port Mann Bridge.
RCMP attempted to stop a blue motorcycle on Highway 1 near 176th Street on Friday morning at 9:30 a.m., but the motorcyclist got away.
Moments later, the motorcycle was involved in a single vehicle accident. The driver fled on foot and unsuccessfully attempted to commander a pickup truck on the 176th off ramp.
The motorcyclist was dressed in a black jacket with a red helmet at the time of the crash.
Police want to speak to the driver of the pickup, believed to be an elderly male.
The pickup is described as a Ford single cab, early 80s model, possibly beige or tan in colour.
Anyone with information is asked to call 604-526-9744 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
