City of Calgary seeks input on new plans for Anderson station

CALGARY – The City of Calgary is looking to the public for input on the future of the Anderson CTrain station at Southcentre Mall.

They’re planning to redevelop 20 acres of land in the area – including the Anderson LRT station, bus terminal and Park and Ride – and are looking for feedback.

Officials are hosting an Open House on Wednesday to talk about their development plans.

They say they hope to turn the LRT station into a destination where people live, work and play – rather than just a place to catch a bus or train.

The Open House runs from 3 – 8 p.m. on May 22nd at Centre Court in Southcentre Mall.
