Three hikers who got lost on a trail near Buntzen Lake are now warm and safe after being found by Coquitlam Search and Rescue crews.
The men, who are all in their early 20s, were rescued by a helicopter just after 8 a.m. this morning.
They were on the Dilly Dally Trail Sunday when they become disoriented.
The trio reported they were in the snowline, and sent their coordinates to a relative via cell phone.
Early Sunday evening, the men were spotted from the air.
Supplies were dropped to them by search and rescue crews but the men spent the night outside on the mountain.
Crews say the men were five hours off the trail when they rescued and only had cell phone coverage because of the high elevation they were at.
None of the men were injured in the incident.
