A man was rushed to hospital early Saturday morning after he was stabbed at his Redwood Avenue home and now police are on the search for two suspects.
Police were called to a home in the 500 block of Redwood Avenue around 4:30 a.m., Saturday.
Officers say a 50-year-old man was outside his home when two unknown men approached him and asked him for a cigarette. The two men stabbed the man, leaving him with upper body injuries.
The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition but has since been upgraded to stable.
The first suspect is described as Aboriginal, 19-20 years old and about 5’10” tall with a thin build.
The second suspect is described as Aboriginal and 19-20 years old. He is between 5’8”-5’9” tall with a muscular build.
