We’re learning more about who was involved in a triple shooting over the weekend in Princeton.
The suspected shooter has been identified as John Ike Koopmans.
One of the victims was a mother of three young children.
Family describe Rose Fox as fun, upbeat and always willing to find the good in people.
But the 32 year-old mother of three had her life cut short in a triple shooting in Princeton over the weekend.
Adding to the shock, the victims and their alleged killer were friends.
Fox’s partner Robert Keith Wharton, 44, was also shot dead. The third victim is in Penticton hospital with serious injuries.
Koopmans, 49, is charged with two counts of second degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
He was supposed to make his first court appearance Tuesday — but that didn’t happen.
RCMP aren’t saying anything about a possible motive for the shootings but many people in Princeton are wondering if it’s an act of vengeance, retaliation for the theft of Koopmans’ guns from his home in February.
Kooopmans’ next court appearance is scheduled for April 24th.
