CALGARY- A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a man charged with the aggravated assault of a child.
In September 2011, RCMP in Gleichen were called to a home on the Siksika Nation for reports of an injured child. A four-month-old had to be airlifted by STARS to hospital, suffering from head trauma.
The child has since recovered, and is now in the care of Child Protective Services.
27-year-old Kinsey Gordon Jerry was arrested in Rocky Mountain House on March 6 in connection with the case. He was released with orders to appear in Siksiki Provincial Court on Thursday, but did not appear. He is now wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Jerry is described as 5’8″ tall, 172 pounds with a medium build. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police.
