Quebec premier Pauline Marois was at the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday to meet with her counterpart, Scotland’s First Minister Alex Salmond. A referendum on Scottish independence is set for the fall of 2014 and Marois’ visit to the Edinburgh was seen as close to the heart of the premier and the goal of her party to make Quebec an independent country.
